Our goal is to raise total endowment funds to at least $15 million through a combination of current and testamentary gifts.
By strengthening our endowment through both present contributions and legacy giving, we ensure the long-term vitality of our parish and its mission. This forward-thinking generosity allows us to serve the next generation, preserving the outreach and ministries that CHS enjoys today well into the future. With an eye on tomorrow, we give with faith and vision, building a lasting foundation for God’s work in our community.
Looking Beyond Ourselves: Endowment & Legacy Giving
The CHS endowment is what helps us weather challenges, sustain robust programs, and support the dedicated clergy and staff who serve our parish. Thanks to recent gifts, our endowment now stands at about $6 million—an important step forward, but still short of what is needed for a parish with a $2 million annual budget. Our long-term goal is to grow the endowment to at least $15 million through current gifts and legacy commitments.

The Westminster Society
Including The Church of the Holy Spirit in your estate planning is both a privilege and a long-lasting blessing. Recognizing the solemnity and importance of planned giving, The Church of the Holy Spirit established the Westminster Society in 2010 to recognize those who have included the church in their estate planning. As of 2023, the Westminster Society has gifted almost $900,000 in bequests to the church. Such gifts have provided countless blessings over the years.
As a member of the Westminster Society your gift can be designated as you choose to enrich our mission—as planned gifts for the Holy Spirit endowment, capital projects or towards special places, such as Mary’s Garden.
